Last month I was delighted to be joined by friend and NTN member Tom Wright to deliver a webinar on AI for the 3to5club in Ireland.
The 3to5club is a business club created with the explicit purpose of supporting small businesses get to scale in ways that are deliberate, sustainable and proven. Based on the award winning book Making Money Is Killing Your Business by Chuck Blakeman, 3to5 Clubs provide the tools small and medium sized business owners need to make MORE money in LESS time, build businesses that get them OFF the treadmill, and enables them to get back to the passion that brought them into business in the first place.
In the webinar, we try to rapidly get past the recent media hype associated with AI and then introduce a quick history of the field and explain some of the key terminology. Tom then goes on to outline four important use case domains where businesses are successfully starting to deliver real value with AI. We then go on to identify a number of gotchas that businesses need to be aware of before they deploy AI services with customers or in safety critical environments. And then finally we offer an AI Opportunity Assessment in the form of a half-day workshop as a route to help them get started.
